Brown, Harbour Reunite in Netflix Spy Show After Woke Drama
Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour are reuniting for a new Netflix spy thriller as an estranged father-daughter duo, putting to rest unverified harassment claims that turned a simple disagreement into months of corporate investigation. The untitled A24 and Netflix series proves that real professionals handle their differences face to face, not through HR departments and anonymous leaks.
What's the New Netflix Spy Show About?
Brown and Harbour aren't wasting any time. Fresh off wrapping the final season of Stranger Things, the pair is heading up a new mystery series from Jack Thorne, the writer behind Brown's Enola Holmes and the Emmy-winning phenomenon Adolescence.
On Stranger Things, Harbour played police chief Jim Hopper, a surrogate father to Brown's telekinetic teen Eleven. Their new project keeps the father-daughter dynamic alive but with a harder edge. Harbour stars as Matt Wolfe, a disgraced FBI agent now working as a security expert. When his estranged daughter Rebecca, an FBI agent played by Brown, vanishes on a mission, Wolfe is pulled back into the dangerous world he tried to leave behind.
Netflix's head of scripted series Jinny Howe called the project a must-watch.
