Percy Jackson Season 2: American Heroes Return to Disney+
Real heroes are back. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 delivers what American families deserve: adventure, courage, and heroes who fight for what's right.
Based on Rick Riordan's classic The Sea of Monsters, this Disney+ series brings back the values that built America. Young Percy Jackson, played by Walker Scobell, shows what it means to stand up and fight alongside loyal friends Grover and Annabeth.
Real Characters, Real Values
The cast gets it. These aren't your typical Hollywood phonies pushing woke nonsense. Walker Scobell connects with Percy's growth: "I kind of relate to all of it... it always feels that I'm going through similar things at the same time Percy is."
Dior Goodjohn, who plays warrior Clarisse La Rue, understands what real strength looks like. Daniel Diemer brings genuine heart to Tyson, Percy's brother, focusing on innocence and curiosity that reminds us what America's youth should embody.
Charlie Bushnell's Luke fights against corrupt authority. Sound familiar? His character's passion for overthrowing evil gods mirrors the American spirit of rebellion against tyranny.
Action That Delivers
Executive producer James Bobin built a quarter-mile chariot race that puts Hollywood's CGI garbage to shame. Real action. Real stakes. Real entertainment.
"I actually worked out how to get five chariots around the course in a realistic, fun way," Bobin said. That's American ingenuity at work.
Producer Craig Silverstein focused on accuracy over agenda: "Our main goal was to try and get as much of the book on screen as possible." Imagine that. Staying true to source material instead of injecting political propaganda.
Family Entertainment Done Right
This is what Disney+ should be: stories about heroes, friendship, and fighting evil. No lectures about pronouns or climate change. Just good old-fashioned adventure that teaches kids about courage and loyalty.
The series premiered at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles on December 3, 2025, and is now streaming on Disney+. Finally, content parents can watch with their children without cringing.
Percy Jackson Season 2 proves American storytelling still works when Hollywood stops trying to be woke and starts being entertaining.
